“ We went here for my wife’s birthday. The food and service was exceptional. We had the seafood and beef dishes and you can’t go wrong with either one. The appetizers and desserts were amazing. I would recommend the crispy shrimp for an appetizer and the beignet tree for dessert. Overall a great experience. ”

“ Ocean 44 is a beautiful fine dining option for seafood right in Fashion Square. There is plenty of parking and optional valet. When you walk in there is a full view of the raw bar & fresh seafood options. The staff is great and provided us some great recommendations on sauces and toppings. My favorite was the Chilean Sea Bass and had a soft tender texture with an amazing seasoning charred into the fish. The Mac and cheese side was delicious, I would eat this side everyday if I could. The other side I hadn’t had before was the Corn Creme Brulee. Very interesting mix of sweet corn and the sugar topping. We also had a filet mignon that was cooked perfect to our liking and went well with the black truffle green peppercorn sauce. ”

“ Had dinner here yesterday around 6:30. Very nice place with friendly staff. Love the ambiance. Dark and gives off romantic vibes. I've been in once before but only had a cocktail and one appetizer that time since I didn't want to eat too much before going out with the girls that time. Our order: Sparkling water 10 Cucumber Guava cocktail 17 Extra Dirty Martini w/ blue cheese olives x2 (comped) Blue Point Oysters 1/2 dozen 30 Hawaiian Yellowtail Crudo 38 Little Neck Clams 32 My drink was good. I subbed it with rum instead of vodka. Oysters weren't bad. It came with 5 different sauces plus a mini green and red Tobasco. I mainly used the horseradish, vinaigrette, and whatever the green one is! Little Neck Clams were a bit gritty so we didn't finish that and they comped his 2 drinks for it. The Hawaiian Yellowtail Crudo was amazing!! I could eat like 5 orders of those. He got sick of seafood and started craving a burger so we ended up not ordering entrees here. I felt bad for our waitress because we were unsure on entrees but she was patient and checked back on us often. Excellent service! I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager (GM?), Stephen, this time because they knew each other. Real nice guy! I would try the Sea Bass next time! ”

“ My wife and I went here for our 12 year anniversary. We started with Crispy Shrimp Deviled Eggs and then shared a Basil Herb rubbed Arctic Char, accompanied with Whipped Praline Sweet Potatoes, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. The food and service was spectacular. Our only letdown on the visit was that our Mastercard Gift Card our parents bought us to go out and have a nice dinner with didn’t work. Apparently their PoS system only accepts cards with a chip, so we ended up having to pay out of pocket. ”

They even called a day later to see how everything went. This wasn't a special occasion per se but they still made it feel like one. “ My husband took me here for my birthday and it was the most amazing dining experience. Staff from hostess to services were professional and you could tell they truly love their job. What I notice first is while it is a seafood restaurant and did not have the typical fish smell, everything is was so clean and organized. Most importantly the food was amazing, considering it being a busy Saturday evening we didn’t have to wait long. I also loved that in the entrance you could see the cooks working. ”

The food is always consistent n out of this world. Shout out to Amanda as my friend flew in from out of town and we dined late. We kept her until after midnight and she kept a pleasant attitude. The Australian wagyu beef steak ruined my love for the everyday filet.... And the key lime pie was simply divine. ”
